Dinner with my roomie M. this past weekend started with this:
Seared chicken thighs. I was tempted to just stop here and call it a dinner until I noticed the pool of blood collecting underneath.
Then sautéing diced onions…
And not pictured, adding rosemary, garlic, and a bay leaf. Later, 4 freshly diced tomatoes.
Stewed for a few minutes, then added the chicken and chicken broth, covered let it braise for 45 minutes.
Meanwhile, M. made potatoes au gratin.
